Kesley Fitzgerald - Recruiting Director
Bio
Coach Kes is the Head Coach of the Queen Anne’s County High School Girls Lacrosse Team and an alumna of QACHS. A 2018 inductee into the QACHS Sports Hall of Fame, she was a dual-sport captain in soccer and lacrosse before continuing her career at Longwood University (VA), where she earned multiple conference honors and served as a two-time team captain.
Since 2016, Coach Fitzgerald has taught Health and Physical Education at Sudlersville Middle School and was recognized with the 2025 Simon McNeely Award by SHAPE Maryland for outstanding teaching and leadership.
Under her guidance, Queen Anne’s has compiled a 68–6 regular season record, captured five consecutive Bayside Conference Championships, and won the 2021 MPSSAA 2A State Championship. Her teams have produced multiple USA Lacrosse All-Americans and All-Academic honorees, with many of her former players now competing at the NCAA level.
As M&D Shore’s College Recruiting Coordinator, Coach Fitzgerald finds great fulfillment in guiding student-athletes and their families through the recruiting process, helping foster accountability, ownership, and dedication along the way.
She also serves as the MPSSAA 2A East Region Girls Lacrosse Director, USA Lacrosse Eastern Shore Awards Director, and was a 2025 coach for the American Select Team Delaware. Coach Fitzgerald resides in Centreville with her husband and their three children.
